The poster P2-011, “Microglia Activation in the Alzheimer Brain; Normalization by Posiphen®” will be presented on Monday, July 16, from 1:00PM to 3:30PM. Posiphen’s unique mechanism of action inhibits neurotoxic proteins that activate microglia. Inhibiting microglia activation reduces inflammation and nerve cell death.
About Posiphen® QR’s lead compound, Posiphen®, is a small orally active compound with high blood brain barrier permeability. Posiphen reduces the levels of toxic proteins in the brains of patients with neurodegenerative disorders back to the levels found in normal healthy volunteers.
